Real Radio, one of Scotland’s largest radio stations, is right behind Scotland’s bid to bring the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games to Glasgow and breakfast presenter Cat Harvey is keen to show that she is ‘actively’ supporting Glasgow 2014.

However she wasn’t quite ready for the shock Robin had in store. After months of bemoaning how unfit she was, side-kick Robin Galloway surprised her live on-air. He issued Cat with her latest challenge - that he had lined up personal trainer Steve Frew to put Cat through the paces.

Commonwealth medallist Steve, who won gold at the Manchester 2002 Games, is backing Glasgow's 2014 Commonwealth bid all the way. After Cat recovered from the shock, both headed down to Scotstoun Leisure Centre. Steve’s first challenge was to keep Cat out of the Café and on the running track, where, for over an hour, Steve set task after task forcing Cat to shed blood, sweat and more than a few tears.

As Cat is about to embark on another season of panto at the Pavilion, she needs to be super fit and Steve is the man to start her off.
