A Big Thank You from the Bid Team 

Over the last few days we have received hundreds of messages of congratulations on the website. Now we are back in Scotland we would like to thank everyone for the fantastic support everyone gave leading up to the announcement and for the great messages received over the last few days.

The support of the community in Scotland was one of the telling factors in winning the Bid as the voters could immediately tell that we were a city and a country which would welcome the athletes in 2014.

So please accept our thanks for being part of the Bid Team. It was a tremendous team effort.
