Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena was the scene of a double celebration on November 9 - Glasgow winning the Commonwealth Games for Scotland in 2014, and the start of the 2007 Glasgow Grand Prix international gynmastics. Over 1,100 schoolchildren were at Kelvin Hall for the announcement decision, jumping, waving and dancing the morning away as they waited for the announcement decision on November 9.

The Kelvin Hall was packed with schoolchildren from schools across Glasgow and beyond, who had come to hear the fantastic annoucenment that Glasgow is to host the Commonwealth Games in 2014.

As well as watching the decision live on big screens, enjoying all of the activities and meeting some of the best gymnastic talent in the UK, the young people were also given the chance to try some of the moves for themselves.
