Project Officer Delhi, 2010 Flag Handover

Emma, 31, is the Project Officer at Culture and Sport Glasgow and joined the team from Sport Glasgow Events in August 2009.

As Project Officer, Emma is responsible for a variety of things including, project managing the Orientation Days at Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket and Bootcamp in September. For delivery in Delhi, she’ll be leading ground transportation with the Hotel HQ. Emma graduated from an Events Management degree in 2000 and has worked in the events industry for the past ten years, running music events in a myriad of venues as well as outdoor events, like Winterfest and the Great Scottish Run, with Culture and Sport Glasgow. For Emma the most exciting part of the journey to Delhi so far has been the Orientation Day, “meeting all of the cast and getting them all in one space for the first time really brought home the magnitude of the event.”
