Ian Reid

Ian is responsible for the strategic direction of the finance, legal, HR, procurement and Office Management functions. His key responsibilities include management and control of the Games operational budgets, liaison with the government, city departments and other delivery agencies, implementation of strong financial controls and strategic development of key operational procedures.

Before joining the Organising Committee for Glasgow 2014, Ian was the Chief Financial Planner for Glasgow Housing Association (the largest social landlord in Europe), responsible for the financial planning of a £1bn investment programme.

Ian has previously had roles in Infrastructure Advisory, Consulting and Auditing with Ernst and Young and PwC, and has spent time working with the European Commission in Brussels.
