The Board

The Board of the Organising Committee has representatives of each of the members of the company Glasgow 2014 Limited as well as representation from the Commonwealth Games Federation, an athlete representative and four independent directors. The Chairman may appoint up to four independent directors.

The members of Glasgow 2014 (like ‘shareholders’, or ‘owners’) are the two main public sector funders of the Games - the Scottish Government and Glasgow City Council - and Commonwealth Games Scotland, the host association of the Games family.
