I joined the Communications Team at the
Glasgow 2014 Organising Committee (OC) over a year ago and have
been lucky enough to work on some really exciting projects, but
Delhi 2010 is most definitely the biggest thing I’ve been involved
in yet.
For Delhi 2010 I’m wearing two hats! My full
time job at the OC involves driving the digital strategy; including
all of the film, online and social media requirements for Delhi
(including this site you’re on right now), and a secondment
position with our Games partner Commonwealth Games Scotland
has provided me with an amazing opportunity to go to the Games in
October as a Team Scotland Media Officer.
This will allow me to gain fantastic hands on
Games experience and of course bring it back to Glasgow. I’ll be
keeping you all up to date with what’s happening out there,
including the events, the athletes and all that’s involved, with
‘behind the scenes’ blogs. So stay tuned!!
