Cast Manager, Delhi 2010 Flag Handover

Cristina is responsible for the smooth delivery of the Handover Ceremony including making sure that all of the 348 volunteer cast members, and the reserve cast, are recruited in time for Orientation Day and Bootcamp. She is responsible for ensuring that the cast are taken from across all of Scotland’s 32 local areas, and that they meet the required accreditation.

Together with the Cast Coordinators, she regularly communicates essential project information to the Cast and keeps then up to date with developments as they get closer the performance date.

Another key aspect of my role are managing the services and facilities required by cast members which include all relevant data capture, travel, accreditation, catering, medical and accommodation which all feeds into other keys areas of the project and the rest of the project team.

Cristina has previously worked on a range of festivals and events covering film and culture, visual arts and strategic development projects.
