Did You Know?

As the largest retail centre in the UK outside London, Glasgow has a wealth of shops, from high street favourites to designer and vintage stores. A number of city centre Style Mile retailers are open until 8pm on Thursdays.

Many restaurants in Glasgow offer pre-theatre menus which, usually run between 5pm-7pm and offer cheaper 2 or 3 course meals from a pre-set menu.

Glasgow has over 90 parks and gardens. The West End is home to the impressive Kelvingrove Park, set on the banks of the River Kelvin, and the picturesque Glasgow Botanic Gardens, known internationally for its beautiful glasshouse and extensive tropical plant collections.
