Animating the city from 4th – 21st April 2014, Glasgow International showcases the best of local and international art for wide-ranging audiences.
Returning for its sixth edition, the festival will continue to showcase Glasgow as a unique major centre for the production and display of contemporary visual art.
Glasgow International is a world-renowned biennial festival of contemporary art that will make use of Glasgow’s thriving artistic community and the city’s longstanding history with artistic endeavour.
The festival will take place in various venues and locations across the city, including Glasgow’s major art spaces and cultural institutions.
This showcase of contemporary art will be comprised of an ambitious programme which includes exhibitions, events, talks, performances and events by international and Glasgow-based artists.
Non-profit spaces such as GOMA, Kelvingrove, and Tramway, to commercial galleries, libraries, and historical buildings will host the festival throughout April.
