What’s the best thing about watching hockey live?

Every game is unpredictable – anything can happen! Penalty shots are always exciting.

Who’s your hockey hero?

My hockey hero is Kate Walsh. She captained Team GB brilliantly at London 2012 and she's an inspirational female sports personality!

What’s your best memory from watching or taking part in hockey?

My best memory from hockey would have to be when I was a ball girl during the Scotland v. South Africa friendly match in Glasgow last summer. It was a fantastic experience as I was metres away from all of the action, and saw many new tactics and techniques.

What are some common misconceptions about hockey?

Some people simply think hockey is tapping a ball into a net, but it's much more than that!

At Glasgow 2014 people should just look out for all of the fresh young talent, as there’s going to be plenty!
