Play Summit

Visual Arts

Play Summit is a collaboration between artist Nils Norman and art & architecture collective Assemble.

The three-day event will run alongside free outdoor play on Glasgow Green by Baltic Street Adventure Playground, a new project currently being built in Dalmarnock by Assemble.

There are free talks, workshops and discussions, and a symposium bringing together leading thinkers and practitioners working in play from around the world, along with play ventures from across Scotland.

Together with PEEK and Playbusters, they invite families and children of all ages to come and play, build, enjoy a campfire and explore. Come prepared to get messy!

Play Summit is a collaboration between Collective’s All Sided Games and Baltic Street Adventure Playground. All Sided Games is funded by The National Lottery through Creative Scotland and delivered in partnership with Edinburgh Leisure and Glasgow Life.

Baltic Street Adventure Playground is a VELOCITY project delivered collaboratively by Assemble and Create London and is funded by Creative Scotland, Clyde Gateway and Glasgow City Council.
