Glasgow-based company awarded contract to make 2014 pin badges

The contract to design and produce a number of pin badges for the Glasgow 2014 Organising Committee has been awarded to Ross Promotional Products Ltd, based in Crimea Street in central Glasgow.

Ross Promotional Products will be producing the "Four Years to Go" limited edition pin badge, a new Glasgow 2014 pin badge as well as a limited edition "Delhi 2010" Handover pin badge, to mark Glasgow becoming the next Commonwealth Games Host City in October.

Glasgow 2014 Director of Marketing and Sponsorship, John Donnelly, said: "We are delighted to be working with Ross Promotional Products on these relatively small but important and public projects following a successful tender process.

"They represented the best overall value for us, with a good background in developing pin badges for a variety of Glasgow-based sports and cultural projects."
