WHAT’S ON TODAY (DAY 4 – 27 JULY)

SPORT

The sporting action comes thick and fast today – starting with the free Marathon event across the city of Glasgow, right through to this evening’s electrifying conclusion of Rugby Sevens at Ibrox Stadium.

There are 24 Gold medals to be won, with the highly-anticipated Athletics competition kicking off at Hampden Park and featuring Finals for the Men’s 5000m and Women’s Para-Sport Long Jump T37/38, and the first rounds of the Men’s 100m.

There will also be more thrilling medal matches in Track Cycling, Swimming, Table Tennis, Shooting and Lawn Bowls – look out for England’s Natalie Melmore in the Women’s Singles Final who won the event at Delhi 2010.

The action continues in Men’s Boxing, Hockey, Netball and Squash, with tense Semi-Final matches in Badminton seeing athletes lunge, stretch and leap to earn their place in tomorrow’s Final. Check out the highlights of the tournament so far.
