Launch of UNICEF Partnership with Olympic Gold Medallist Nicola Adams

UNICEF, the Commonwealth Games Federation and Glasgow 2014 have announced a unique collaboration that seeks to touch the lives of children in Scotland and in Commonwealth countries across the world.

The partnership was unveiled by the first Olympic female boxing Gold Medallist, Nicola Adams, at Swinton Primary School in the East End of Glasgow.

Nicola joined excited pupils and helped them unveil the “Best You Can Be” Thought Wall which illustrated their hopes and dreams - and what they – and children across the Commonwealth - need to fulfil themselves and be the best they can be.
