Tom Daley welcomes the Queen's Baton back to the British Isles

On Sunday 11 May Glasgow 2014 Ambassador Tom Daley was joined in Jersey by local athlete Zane Duquemin to bring the Queen’s Baton back to the British Isles.  The Baton received a fanfare welcome in Jersey’s St Aubin’s harbour with many locals coming out to show their support for the Queen’s Baton Relay.

The Jersey visit marks the Baton’s first stop in the British Isles and truly begins the countdown to the Baton’s return to Scotland on 14 June and the beginning of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
