A ticket to the Track Cycling at Glasgow 2014 will have your senses working overtime, your eyes pursuing the cyclists and your ears taking in the roar that bounces off the curved walls of the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

Track Cycling is a furious game of cat and mouse played over 180-degree circular bends.

Riders and bicycles spin like a roulette wheel. But this is not a game left to chance.

Hours of training have pushed the boundaries of mental and physical stamina. Every turn of the pedals is a campaign of willpower against defeat – every turn edging the cyclist closer to Gold.

At Glasgow 2014, Track Cycling events will fit into two categories – Sprint and Endurance races. Some of the world's fastest track cyclists will converge on the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome to take up the competition across 12 events for individual success and national renown.
