Accessibility Information

Accessible Transport

In addition to taxis and local buses, additional games-specific accessible transport services will be provided at each venue. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be pre-booked. The detail of the services available for each venue is detailed below.

Our Spectator Services Accessibility team will be on hand to assist spectators with mobility requirements once they reach the venue.

How to book

Please call the freephone Accessible Transport booking line on 0800 952 0110 or textphone on (18001) 0800 952 0109 to book the appropriate service for your venue. Spaces are limited at each location, so please book early to avoid disappointment. When phoning to book any of these services please make sure you have to hand your Glasgow 2014 customer reference number (found on your tickets or email correspondence), wheelchair/Easy Access ticket number, along with details of the venue name, date and session you’re visiting.

Failure to vacate the car park within your allocated parking slot inhibits other spectators with accessible needs from accessing the venue. Any vehicle left after the specified booking time may be removed with fees incurred.

Parking for wheelchair/Easy Access ticket holders and Blue Badge holders is limited to cars. If you have a larger vehicle that cannot be accommodated within a standard Blue Badge parking space, please contact the accessible transport booking line for advice.
